FAQs
-
Counseling can be beneficial for anyone experiencing difficulties in their life, such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, or significant life changes. If you find yourself struggling to cope with your emotions or manage daily tasks, counseling may be helpful.
-
Counseling sessions involve a safe and confidential space where you can discuss your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with me, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I will listen attentively, offer support and guidance, and help you explore strategies for coping and problem-solving.
-
The duration of counseling varies depending on individual needs and goals. Some people may benefit from short-term counseling to address specific issues, while others may engage in longer-term therapy for more complex or ongoing concerns. We will work together to determine the most appropriate treatment plan, and use that to guide our work together.

Costs will vary based on the type of insurance you have, as well as factors including whether or not you have met your deductible. You will be made aware of your exact costs prior to our first session, as I will personally verify your eligibility benefits. If you are paying out of pocket, I am required by law to provide you a Good Faith Estimate for the costs of treatment.
-
Yes, counseling sessions are confidential, meaning that I will not share information discussed during sessions with anyone else without your written permission, except in certain situations as required by law. These exceptions will be detailed in your consent forms that you will review and sign prior to our first session together.
